This was a last-minute pickup quartet for an a cappella event in Elizabethtown, KY on May 27, 2022. We listened to the Cadence arrangement the day before, rehearsed the song a few times for about 15 minutes, then went on stage a half hour later. With Nico Bontones, Aaron Dale, and Doug Harrington.
I recorded this in the amazingly resonant front vestibule where I used to work, using the cheap little Yamaha Jr. I keep at the office for practice.
Four of us from the Pitch It Up a cappella ensemble singing A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square on WHAS-11 television show Great Day Live on June 5th, 2019. I'm singing the alto part (the high harmony part) because we just don't have enough female singers with us yet. Left-to-right: Dan Delaney, Ian deClive-Lowe, Nico Bontones, Hannah Nitzken.
Singing the song "Marry Me" (by Train) for my sister, Colette, after her beautiful wedding on the beach in the Outer Banks in 2017.
Five of us from the Kentucky Vocal Union taking Jingle Bells to the absurd extreme.
This was performed at a Power Creative company Christmas party, I think in 2005, by an ad hoc a cappella group we threw together a few weeks before, just to have some fun.
Live at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon during the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2012 International Convention. This was the KVU's breakout performance, when we shocked the Barbershop world by putting pop-rock songs on the international contest stage.
Live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas during the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2014 International Convention. I spent many hours watching the Thriller music video in slow motion to put together the dance sequences.
Live at THE AXIS | Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas during the Barbershop Harmony Society's 2017 International Convention. This was my final BHS International Competition, and I was blessed to have my son Sage perform with me on that stage. We did a Jackson 5 dance routine!
